Apple developers gave the Macintosh users the ability to experience iMessage on their computers. Windows owners were left behind, but thanks to a new release of utility, you can now access Apple messenger application through your computer running windows.
A new jailbreak tweak was released on cydia, giving a full access to users , to use iMessage on their windows computers. Thanks to Remote Messages, that basically works as a server to recreates iMessage chat window in your computer browser.
The tweak allow you to send and receive short messages, view attachments and photos.
How to get and setup Remote message
When we talk about a jailbreak tweak, we are necessary in deer need of Cydia. So grab your device and launch cydia, search for Remote Messages. It is worth mentioning that you will find multi version, please install the one that goes with your device firmware.
Once you install the tweak, go to Remote messages located in the settings.
Fill in the Login Account Details with a username and a password of your choice.
Enable the tweak and open up your computer browser. We are going to need the current IP address of our device, which can be located at the Remote Messages window.
We need to write the address IP and the Server Port as following in our browser :
Login with the username and the password you have choose before in the settings, and you will be able to see the next image :
The interface is quite simple, choose one of your contacts, write down your message and "VOILA" your message is ready to go!
